RHOSLC Cast Discuss Where They Stand With Britani Bateman After Recording Drama as Britani Shares What Hurt Her, Plus Mary Accuses Britani of Acting Like a "Victim" and Lying as Meredith Speaks, & Cast Reveals if They Believe Britani Bugged Meredith's Room

Britani Bateman looked back on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast’s reaction to her secret recording after Wednesday’s episode saw them screaming at her in a Sprinter van. Plus, some of her co-stars addressed where they stand with her today.

As Britani, 53, revealed what hurt her the most about the dramatic encounter, and other members of the cast, including Meredith Marks, 53, Mary Cosby, 52, and Heather Gay, 50, looked back on the feud, Bronwyn Newport, 39, targeted Britani’s intelligence and Britani defended herself against claims of potentially bugging Meredith’s room.

“I seriously just wanted to go home. I was literally hyperventilating. I was like, ‘Get me the freak out,’” Britani recalled on the January 8 episode of the RHOSLC: After Show.

While Britani expected the behavior from Angie Katsanevas, 51, because she’s “a little thirsty,” Meredith’s actions took her aback.

“The thing that hurt me the most was Meredith. I thought that Meredith and I had a budding flame of a relationship that I was fostering … and I felt like we had each other’s backs, and I didn’t also know that she had this narrative about me,” Britani shared.

In response, Lisa Barlow, 50, reminded Britani that Meredith felt she had insinuated she had an eating disorder.

“I was very upset, I don’t think I was wrong for being upset, but I definitely could’ve softened my delivery,” Meredith admitted. “I was very harsh.”

According to Meredith, she was regretful about the encounter and is now “at peace with Britani.”

“I don’t have a problem with her because I don’t think there was ill intent,” she shared.

Although Meredith admitted she “would’ve left” the cast’s trip to Puerto Vallarta if she were in Britani’s shoes, Mary was less sympathetic and still doesn’t trust Britani to this day.

“She keeps staying and she keeps wanting to leave. It’s exhausting. It’s like dealing with a kid. I’m like, ‘Leave. If you wanna leave, go, nobody’s making you be here,’” Mary pointed out. “She keeps running off and crying, acting like she’s the victim. No one’s victimizing you here. You’re victimizing yourself.”

Then, as Heather described the scene as “intense” and suggested everyone on the trip “hated” Britani, Mary went on to say that she does not trust Britani and feels she’s a liar.

“I wouldn’t trust Britani as far as I can see her. That’s just where I am … She doesn’t tell the truth,” Mary declared.

“No, she doesn’t,” Angie agreed. “She starts fights. She picks fights. But then she’s victimizing, and it’s hard to be friends with someone like that because whatever you say, they’re gonna take it and run with it and then make you the bad guy.”

During another segment, the RHOSLC cast was asked if they really believed Britani had bugged Meredith’s room.

“In the history of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard in my life, this might top everything. To think that Britani of all people has the wherewithal to bug Meredith’s room is hysterical to me … I just can’t picture Britani hiding a listening device,” Bronwyn admitted.

But according to Lisa, Meredith had “genuine concerns” that someone was listening to her.

“We have a heightened level of paranoia after everything that we’ve gone through after the last five years,” Meredith explained.

As fans saw on the show, Heather did a look-over of Meredith’s room to be sure that there were no devices listening to Meredith’s conversations, even though she “didn’t believe that there were gonna be any” devices.

“[I] wanted the chance to make sure there weren’t,” she shared.

Meanwhile, Britani got a kick out of the claims against her.

“I was laughing so hard because it was absolutely ridiculous,” she stated.
