Roki Sasaki won’t be coming to New York.

After the Yankees found out they were no longer in the running to sign Sasaki, the Mets received the same news on Monday. According to reports from The Post’s Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman, Sasaki will not be joining the Mets.

The Mets held a meeting with Sasaki last month, which marked his first known interaction with a Major League Baseball team. This meeting took place after David Stearns, the president of baseball operations, traveled to Japan to observe Sasaki in action back in September.

Stearns had said at the winter meetings that the Mets were going to give it their “best shot” on Sasaki.

Sasaki, 23, has also met with the Dodgers, Padres, Blue Jays, Cubs, Rangers and Giants.

Giants GM Zack Minasian said Monday that he was also informed Sasaki is not signing with them, per multiple reports.

Speculations have been circulating for some time that Sasaki would be heading to the Dodgers to team up with fellow Japanese players Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. However, it is worth noting that Sasaki has expressed admiration for Yu Darvish, the right-handed pitcher for the Padres.
