UPDATE, January 13, 2024, 11:31 am – The Burke County Sheriff’s Office says they are also looking for Melissa Ellison, of Alto, GA, the victim’s mother.
She is wanted along with Julian Bright for questioning in the death of Raynard Ellison.

UPDATE | The Waynesboro Police Department is searching for a man wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of Raynard Ellison.
According to authorities, Julian Titorian Bright, was last seen in the area of Magnolia Acres on January 12th.
Bright should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information concerning Bright’s location is asked to notify Waynesboro Police Department Investigator Faith Cupp at 706-526-5013, Dispatch at 706-554-8029, or Burke County Sheriff’s Office at 706-554-2133. Callers will be kept anonymous if requested.
WAYNESBORO, Ga. () – One person is dead after a shooting in Waynesboro.
Authorities say on Sunday, January 12, at approximately 4:20 a.m. officers at the Waynesboro Police Department received a call for service in Magnolia Acres in reference to a possible gunshot victim.
Mr. Raynard Ellison was located in a family member’s apartment suffering from a gunshot wound. Mr. Ellison was transported to Burke Health, where he succumbed to his injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation.
