The sheriff’s office will send out another notice after the phone lines are restored.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that all 911 and non-emergency phone lines went offline in their communications center Tuesday afternoon.

JSO said the outage is affecting multiple local emergency entities, including the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, the Beaches’ law enforcement agencies and Duval County School Police.

The sheriff’s office said it is working to restore the service and will send out another notice after the phone lines are back online.

There was no report on how long they anticipate the service to be offline.

If you need an ambulance, there are private ambulance services available. You can find them by searching the internet.

If you need the fire department, you can find your closest JFRD fire station here.

If you need the sheriff’s office, here is a list of the JSO substations around the city.
