NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. () – In their first meeting of the calendar year, the Aiken County Public Schools Board of Education heard an update regarding the Athletic Complex currently being built at North Augusta High School.

The project will bring a brand new softball and baseball athletic complex to North Augusta’s campus. spoke with Dr. Tim Yarborough, Director of Operations and Student Services, who told us the project is on time and under budget.

Yarborough also told us the significance of this complex being built, “Well, forever, North Augusta has had to compete softball and baseball at Riverview Park, they have not had those facilities on their campus. So, they’re thrilled and we’re thrilled that they’ll be able to have all those facilities on their campus and they’ll no longer have to travel to the other side of the city to play baseball and softball.” said Yarborough.

The projected completion date for the Athletic Complex is March 1, 2025.
