A RUSSIAN general has said Russia will “inevitably” strike Britain so hard we are wiped off the map.

Andrey Gurulev, a hard-line politician and general who often spews Putin’s propaganda on TV, warned Russia would blitz Britain as revenge for allowing the Ukrainians to use our powerful Storm Shadow missiles.

In a rambling monologue on Kremlin-controlled TV the general said: “There’s still going to come a point where we’re going to strike. It is inevitable.

“The question is simply a matter of time and decision-making.

“And there is no other way.”

The general’s threats came in response to a wave of missiles and drones launched by Ukraine on Tuesday at the Bryansk region of Russia which involved six British Storm Shadow missiles.

The deluded military man continued: “If today Britain is hitting our territory with its missiles from Ukraine, everyone realises that they will not fly anywhere without NATO control systems and satellite navigation.

“I believe that this is a direct reason for Britain to simply not be on Earth.

“And I’m not the only one who thinks that, we’re not the only ones who think that.

“I think 80 per cent of the world will clap for us.

“That’s 100 per cent.”

TV propagandists have previously suggested using Putin’s new Satan-2 missile – known to the Russians as Sarmat – to obliterate Britain.

Gurulev waded in earlier this week to ridiculously suggest that Putin and Donald Trump should carve up Greenland and each take half of the island.

He also forecast that Russia would seize Spitsbergen, a Norwegian island in the Arctic where military operations are banned, and use it as a defence stronghold.

Yesterday’s missile attack on Russia involved six US-made Atacms ballistics missiles, six British Storm Shadow cruise missiles and one of Ukraine’s largest drone waves to date.

The Ukrainian military claimed the wave struck as deep as 680 miles inside Russian territory, targeting oil storage, refining facilities and chemical and ammunition plants in the Bryansk, Saratov, Tula and Tatarstan regions.

Russia claimed to have shot down all the western missiles involved, two more Storm Shadows over the Black Sea and 146 drones – although this has not been verified.

Russian media reported that the Bryansk chemical plant which produces gunpowder and explosives was damaged in the attack.

British began supplying Ukraine with Storm Shadow missiles in May 2023, although initially refused to allow them to be used to strike inside Russia.

Last week it was reported that two of Putin’s top colonels were eliminated by the British missiles.

The high-ranking soldiers were hiding out in a bunker in the Kursk region, but the powerful missiles blew them to pieces.

This policy was changed in November 2024, meaning the 150-mile range weapons could be used to bomb targets deep inside Russia.

British weapons in Ukraine

THE UK has supplied Ukraine with a range of weapons to help its army defend against Putin’s forces.

The weapons include guns, missile systems and tanks.

Some of the equipment currently being supplied includes:

  • Storm Shadow missiles: Long-range cruise missiles that can hit targets up to 155 miles away. They are launched from aircraft and can fly close to the speed of sound.
  • M270 missile system: A multiple-launch rocket system.
  • Challenger tanks: The UK has supplied 14 Challenger tanks to Ukraine.
  • Anti-tank missiles: Thousands of anti-tank missiles, including NLAWs and Javelins.
  • Air-defense missiles: Thousands of air-defence missiles, including Starstreaks and AMRAAM missiles.
  • Self-propelled artillery units: 20 M-109 self-propelled artillery units.
  • Self-propelled guns: 30 AS-90 self-propelled guns.
  • Howitzer artillery guns: At least 82 howitzer artillery guns.
