SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Is there a more romantic day to get married than Valentine’s Day? If you have your heart set on joining hearts with your sweetie this February, head to the Montgomery Steet Courthouse. Six Chatham County Judges and the Superior Court Clerk are dedicating their schedules that day to officiating at weddings.

Couples who would like to marry at the courthouse on Valentine’s Day must reserve a court time in advance by calling either 912-652-7460 or 912-652-7154 to RSVP by Monday, February 10, 2025.

Couples must also obtain a marriage license issued by the Probate Court prior to their Valentine’s Day wedding at the Courthouse. Marriage licenses are accepted by appointment only and may be obtained weeks in advance of the wedding date to avoid last minute stress.
