Jennifer Lopez has made a very large donation of clothing and accessories to those afflicted by the Los Angeles fires, DailyMail.com has learned.

Lopez, who is 55 years old, has reportedly taken clothing items from her personal closet and an extensive storage unit. These items were packed into boxes and loaded onto a truck, according to a source who spoke to DailyMail.com.

‘It was a huge amount of stuff and is worth a fortune. There is a lot of comfortable clothes like hoodies and jeans, just everyday stuff to get people back on their feet.

‘There are tennis shoes, sweaters and jackets, perfect for winter. Jennifer has been collecting clothing for the past 30 years so she had a lot to pull from,’ added the insider. The donations started last week and have continued into this week, it was added.

The Atlas actress also added several packages of her JLO beauty products that include cleanser and moisturizer.

The clothing goes to students, teachers and families involved with the Los Angeles school district and Pasadena schools.

The raging fires have taken place in the Pacific Palisades and Altadena claiming at least 24 lives.

The donation – which does not have a dollar amount attached – was made to The A-List which has put together a ‘grassroots’ donation campaign for those left with nothing after their homes burned down.

Another person who has sent over supplies is shoe company Steve Madden.

The A List is a ‘relationship-first, full scope marketing agency with a showroom in Beverly Hills specializing in all things celebrity, influencer & events,’ it says online.

Last week Jennifer shared a post directing readers to the Boys & Girls Club, which is offering ‘safe spaces and support’ for children and their families during the disaster.

Lopez, who attended the club as a teenager and became a spokesperson in 2010, wrote on Instagram: ‘My heart goes out to everyone affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. I can’t even imagine how deeply traumatic these events can be, especially for children who’ve lost their homes and sense of security.

‘During times like these, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Los Angeles are here to provide support, resources, and a safe space for kids and families in need.

‘The Boys and Girls Club of America was where I found solace and refuge so often in my own childhood. It’s a place where kids can feel safe, cared for, and empowered, even during the hardest times. Please visit the link in my bio for more information on how to reach out or visit your local club to find help, connection, and hope. Together, we’ll rebuild stronger.’

It comes as Jennifer canceled all her upcoming media appearances amid the catastrophic wildfires ravaging Los Angeles, according to a new report.

On Saturday it emerged that the crisis prompted Lopez to scrap her publicity rounds for her movie Unstoppable, which arrives on Amazon Prime next Friday.

‘It’s important to her to focus on supporting the community of Los Angeles during this very difficult time,’ a source close to her told People

Unstoppable is a biopic starring Jharrel Jerome as one-legged wrestling champion Anthony Robles, with Lopez playing his mother Judy.

The movie was scheduled to have a premiere at Hollywood’s iconic TCL Chinese Theatre on Tuesday, but the event was called off in light of the wildfires.

Lopez was due to fly to New York to promote the film on shows like Live With Kelly And Mark, Today, The View and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

However she is said to have canceled her trip entirely in order to devote her attention to assisting the fire relief efforts in Los Angeles.

Last week, she posted Insta Stories detailing ‘resources to help those impacted,’ including information about shelter locations and animal care.

She has reportedly been ‘checking in’ with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, and his children Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 12, amid the deadly wildfires.

The actress is said to have felt ‘worried and concerned’ after learning that her former spouse and his family were among those under evacuation orders.

A source told Page Six that she ‘reached out as soon as she heard about Ben’s home possibly being in danger and that he was evacuated’ and to see how he was coping during the ‘whole ordeal.’

Additionally, she ‘let him know she’s there for him and the kids,’ who he shares with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

‘She offered her support for whatever they need,’ the insider noted.

To Affleck and his loved ones’ relief, his property has survived the massive wildfires ripping through Los Angeles.

After fleeing his residence, he was seen heading for safety at Garner’s home.
