President-elect Trump was awarded the “first ever Presidential Commemorative Inaugural” Diet Coke by Coca-Cola’s CEO, according to his longtime aide Margo Martin.

“Tonight, President Trump received the first ever Presidential Commemorative Inaugural Diet Coke bottle from the Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Company, James Quincey,” Martin said in a post on the social platform X Tuesday.

The post also featured two photos, one of Trump holding a bottle next to Quincey and the other of a close-up of the bottle, which has a label with the White House on it and text that reads “The Inauguration of the President of the United States,’ and the date of Trump’s upcoming inauguration. 

Trump has historically been known to have a penchant for Diet Coke, even having an Oval Office button that aided in the delivery of the soda during his first presidency. Per news reports, the president-elect would regularly drink 12 cans of Diet Coke a day.

“The Coca-Cola Company has a tradition of creating commemorative Coca-Cola bottles in celebration of U.S. presidential inaugurations, dating back to 2005,” a company spokesperson told Fox News Digital. “James Quincey, CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, met with President Elect Donald Trump to present a commemorative bottle of Diet Coke and to highlight Coca-Cola’s contributions to the U.S. economy.”

Coca-Cola is the latest in a slew of companies that have aligned themselves with Trump’s upcoming inauguration Google, Boeing, Ford, Amazon, Toyota and Meta are among those that have donated to Trump’s inaugural fund.
