Former Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow expecting first child

DENVER (KDVR) Former Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow and his wife Demi-Leigh Tebow are expecting their first child.

The pair shared the announcement along with ultrasound photos in a post on Instagram on Tuesday.

The Tebows told People Magazine that they are excited and grateful to be having a baby together. The magazine reports that Demi-Leigh is 16 weeks pregnant.

The couple said the baby is expected to arrive this summer.

After a successful college football career at the University of Florida, Tebow was selected 25th overall in the 2010 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos, according to the NFL. He played for the Broncos until he joined the New York Mets in 2012.

He went on to sign with the New England Patriots (2013), Philadelphia Eagles (2015) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2021), and extended his athletics beyond the NFL, signing with the New York Mets in 2016. He announced his retirement from MLB in 2021.
