It will be a fun-filled day as little pirates invade Bayshore.
Along the street, seats, grandstands, and gates are already set up.
“This is a big parade for these kids, it’s the largest children’s base parade in the entire country and Tampa provides that, and that enjoyment for all the kids that are out here,” said Dillon Stefany, the VP of EventFest.

“It’s awesome,” Stefany said. “It’s a great family-friendly atmosphere. We have all of the activities designed out here for the kids. So, that they get to enjoy the Gasparilla fun, and their parents can enjoy it the following weekend.”
If all the people, sounds, and music get overwhelming, there are resources set up in place.
“If you have any needs to get away from the noise, the music, all of that, the city of Tampa is providing a sensory relief zone that will be located at the corner of Barcelona and Bayshore,” Stefany said.
Everyone is preparing for a massive amount of beads, laughs, and a huge parade that will go on rain or shine.
The event is alcohol free. Coolers, tents, large beach umbrellas, motorized bikes or scooters, and golf carts are not allowed.
Leashed pets will be allowed at the event.
