It’s an all-out war on Goku and his friends in the next exciting episode of Dragon Ball Daima. With only a few episodes left, things are escalating fast now that the mini-warriors have reached King Gomah in the First Demon World.

While Episode 13 was a fun but uneventful detour, Episode 14 of Daima gets the series back on track with new revelations regarding the world of the Demon Realm. More specifically, the latest episode once again demonstrates the unimaginable powers of the playfully senile Namekian Neva. Episode 14 also introduces a new but familiar team of villains for Goku to face in the next episode.

Dragon Ball DAIMA Is Set to Bring Back DBZ’s Dabura

After King Gomah had Warp-sama shut down, Goku and his friends were forced to find another way to the First Demon World. Despite all his strengths, Goku’s greatest weakness is his naivety. His attempt at breaking through the Shield of Light to travel to the First Demon World resulted in him getting knocked out by a deadly jolt of energy. Thankfully, Goku picked himself back up after Neva unlocked the gate that sealed the pathway to the First Demon World from the Second Demon World–the seal Neva placed to protect the peaceful Namekians from evil outsiders after the Dragon Balls.

Meanwhile, King Gomah and Degesu prepare for Goku’s arrival by assembling a powerful yet bizarre team of elite warriors. Without a doubt, the new team of demonic troublemakers is incredibly reminiscent of the Ginyu Force from Dragon Ball Z. Just like the Ginyu Force, the Gendarmerie Force consists of five members who can strike a dramatic pose like a Super Sentai hero (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fans should also check out The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World, currently airing on Crunchyroll). In the typical fashion of Akira Toriyama, this brand-new threat is more goofy than intimidating, as demonstrated by the last-minute trip for snacks at the demonic convenience store and their failure to look like heroes in front of Majin Kuu and Majin Duu. Nonetheless, this spiritual successor to the Ginyu Force shouldn’t be taken lightly just yet.

Dragon Ball Daima Episode 15, “Third Eye,” won’t hold anything back next week as Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and more take on King Gomah’s army. Arguably, this is the longest preview for Dragon Ball Daima yet, and the fact that it ends with the image of Dabura — one of the strongest villains in Dragon Ball Z — makes it even more fascinating. Is the former ruler of the Demon Realm back to reclaim his throne?
