This won’t help the “hockey mom” reputation.

An unidentified woman has been charged with a crime for reportedly attacking two referees during her son’s high school hockey match at Foxboro Sports Center in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The incident took place earlier this month, according to a statement released by the Foxborough Police Department on Thursday.

The alleged incident occurred during a game between Mansfield High School and Taunton High School, according to NBC Boston, which added that it was a mom of one of the Taunton players.

“Initial investigation by responding officers indicates that two game officials had been assaulted by an alleged parent of one of the players,” authorities said in their statement.

“A follow-up investigation was conducted which consisted of interviewing witnesses, the two involved referees, and the observation of game video and cellphone video.

“As a result of this investigation one person will be summoned to Wrentham District Court at a later date for several criminal charges. The name of the summoned party will not be released until probable cause for the criminal charges is determined by a Clerk Magistrate per Massachusetts Public Records Laws.”

Arena footage obtained by NBC Boston shows a woman stepping onto the ice as the game ended, with two referees skating toward her moments later.

The footage does not show the actual assault, though, which allegedly occurred shortly after.

National Ice Hockey Officials’ Association spokesperson Mike Ober told the outlet that the woman waited more than five minutes for the referees to make their way off the ice toward the locker room.

“Nobody was injured in this situation, thankfully,” National Ice Hockey Officials’ Association spokesperson Mike Ober told the outlet.

“It could have turned out much differently.”
