The most recent California wildfires have devastated many people in their wake. People have lost homes, and many have evacuated to find safety. However, one of the celebrities who has stepped up to the plate to help is none other than Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel.

Because of her work, she was invited to one of the recent NASDAQ openings. While she was honored to be there, she also suffered a wardrobe malfunction, which she poked fun at on social media.

Naturally, many people know Bethenny, 54, for stirring the pot on older seasons of RHONY as well as being a strong businesswoman. Bethenny also launched her BStrong organization in 2017 to provide emergency assistance in the wake of various worldwide crises. The organization has done quite a bit for those impacted by the recent fires. 

Due to Bethenny’s contributions to victims of the Palisades fires, she was invited to ring the opening bell for NASDAQ on January 16. This is a massive honor, and it shows how much the work she has done is valued. During the event, Bethenny suffered a rather embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she rang the bell. 

For the occasion, Bethenny wore a beautiful long-sleeved dress with black buttons. However, the buttons popped open and exposed her bra at the ceremony.

Being the social media maven she is, Bethenny later took to her TikTok to laugh off the embarrassing moment to her 2.4 million followers. She used text overlay on the video that read, “POV: you ring the opening dress ceremony at NASDAQ.”

 

She captioned the video, “Is it ever NOT something? Today’s wardrobe malfunction at NASDAQ brought to you by your truly…” In true unbothered fashion, Bethenny used the hit Pussycat Dolls song “Buttons” in the video as she made fun of herself.

Still, despite the wardrobe malfunction, Bethenny is one of the examples of a celebrity who has used their wealth and influence for good. This is one of the many reasons she’s iconic.
