Keke Palmer is a true powerhouse—a renowned actress, singer, author, and activist. At 31 years old, she’s proven time and again that her talent knows no bounds. Now, it seems her young son, Leodis, is following in her footsteps, showcasing some impressive musical skills already.

In her interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the multi-hyphenate entertainer shared that her son has an interest in singing. She told Meyers that Leodis’ singing is “the cutest thing in the world.”

When asked if it was still a bit too early to know if he will be a good singer, Palmer responded that the toddler has “absolutely perfect pitch.”

The Nope actress went on to say that she hopes her son follows in her footsteps, but that if he is interested in something different, then she will have to “let it happen.”

“I just love that idea of the family business,” she said. “But, if he grows up and says he wants to play baseball, I got to let it happen.”

The former Nickelodeon and Disney star welcomed her son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton Jackson, to the world with ex-partner, Darius Jackson in February 2023. Since his birth, Palmer has been “just having fun watching [her son] grow.

“I’m very grateful to be able to have this experience,” Palmer told People Magazine in a 2024 interview. “I think it’s something that I’ve always wanted in my life. And even though it has its … I don’t wanna even say ups and downs, but it has its challenges just because you wanna make sure that you always show up for the baby.”

She continued, “It pushes you, in a way, to be an even more precise version of yourself. And, I think that that’s the process.”

Palmer was on the show to promote her upcoming movie, One Of Them Days. The movie stars Palmer and SZA and hits theaters nationwide on January 24.
