Charlamagne Tha God reassesses whether Trump is a 'fascist' after 'leaderless' Dems' actions since election loss

Charlamagne Tha God is thinking about withdrawing his previous statement where he referred to President-elect Donald Trump as a “fascist” due to recent developments involving Democrats.

The comedian, 46, expressed disappointment with the Democratic Party and their reactions to losing the November election — even questioning whether the incoming commander in chief ever really posed a “threat.”

“I never called Donald Trump a fascist based off anything I heard from Democrats. I said that because of things I heard come out of Donald Trump,” Charlamagne said on Friday’s episode of “Brilliant Idiots.”

“But guess what? I don’t even know if I believe it anymore, but only because of how they’re acting. I’m like, well goddamn, maybe it ain’t that much of a threat.”

The admission whipped co-host Andrew Schulz into a frenzy: “Exactly! They lied to you.”

Charlamagne went on to accuse the Democratic Party of being “leaderless.”

“Republicans have to show me. I need to see them ruin the country like Democrats say they are going to ruin the country, for me to ever believe anything Democrats have to say ever again,” he continued.

Despite his blatant frustration, Charlamagne emphasized that he would not have changed his vote for the 2024 presidential election and has continued to support Vice President Kamala Harris, who he called a “friend.”

The pair had previously agreed to call Trump “fascist” during an hour-long radio town hall hosted on iHeartRadio in October.

Harris was describing the choice voters had between her campaign and Trump’s when Charlamagne, whose real name is Lenard McKelvey, brought up fascism.

“The other is about fascism. Why can’t we just say it?” Charlamagne asked in reference to Trump.

“Yes, we can say that,” Harris replied.
