Janelle Brown and Meri Brown spent years in a plural marriage that didn’t work for them. Aside from their issues with Kody Brown, they didn’t particularly like each other. The former sister wives discussed their strained and icy relationship multiple times in the series. Now that they’ve parted ways with their shared husband, they’ve put plenty of space between them. The distance seems to have thawed some of that ice. Still, Janelle Brown has commented on Meri’s current life. She seems happy for her and thinks the divorce was good for Meri Brown.

Janelle Brown thinks Meri Brown is happy with her life

Janelle Brown and Meri Brown might not be friends. Still, Janelle has been in contact with her former sister wife. She’s spent enough time with her to feel confident commenting on her current mood, at the very least. During an episode of Rogue Energy, both Christine and Janelle discussed where they stand with their former sister wives.

Janelle revealed that she had recently worked with Meri on clearing up the legal strings that still tied them to Kody Brown. She said working with Meri on the sale of Coyote Pass has been pleasant. She went on to suggest Meri Brown is greatly enjoying her post-divorce life, insisting she seems to be “really happy.”

Janelle went on to say Meri had been living her own life. While Meri spent much of the last decade “alone,” she was still spiritually tied to Kody Brown, which certainly weighed her down emotionally. With that bond now broken, she is truly free for the first time since she was just a teen. Fans quickly noticed how much of a personality change she’s undergone since officially splitting with Kody. She’s becoming a bit of a fan favorite in season 19.

Where does Janelle Brown stand with Robyn Brown?

While Janelle readily admitted to enjoying working with Meri on the stressful Coyote Pass project, they aren’t exactly planning meetups for coffee. While her feelings about Meri Brown might not be overly sunny, she seems to have far more positive thoughts about her than Kody Brown’s fourth wife.

In the same interview, Janelle revealed that she’s had no interaction with Robyn Brown since her split from Kody, and she seems happy to keep it that way. She said that she and Robyn have no overlap in their lives and no reason to communicate. Janelle and Robyn never formed a connection despite sharing the same husband for over a decade. Janelle was one of the first people to call out how Kody appeared to be favoring Robyn, albeit in a subtle way. She’s called Kody out multiple times this season.
