Comedy is all about timing.

Comedian Theo Von was in for an unexpected surprise at President Donald Trump’s second inauguration in Washington, DC, when his chair collapsed, causing him to fall backward into Logan Paul.

Logan Paul, along with his brother Jake Paul, was seated behind Von, capturing part of Trump’s speech on video when Von’s metal folding chair suddenly gave way.

“Oh! It happened,” Paul, 29, loudly whispers in the video he later shared on X, which he caption, “MAKE CHAIRS GREAT AGAIN.”

People quickly turned their heads in shock and concern to see Von sitting on the ground atop the flattened-out chair with his back in Paul’s lap.

“I said it would,” Paul said as someone off-camera shushed the group, and Von was being helped up from the floor.

Despite the embarrassing mishap, Von, known for hosting the podcast “This Past Weekend,” managed to keep his sense of humor intact and made a quick joke to lighten the situation.

“Kamala’s chairs,” he quipped, a crack at former Vice President Kamala Harris, as he sat down in a different chair between the Paul brothers.

Paul then tells the comedian he got the mishap on video.

“Did you really? Let me see it,” Von gleefully said before the clip ends.

Von later addressed the incident on his X account, reposting the video and writing, “Thought we were past the pranks, boys.”

The podcaster, who interviewed Trump at his Bedminster, NJ, country club in August while he was running for reelection, posted on X before the ceremony that he “felt really lucky” for the opportunity to be at the inauguration.

“Got a chance to go to the presidential inauguration today and i just cant believe i got to be at that,” he wrote.

“Some countries dont even let you vote. Just felt really lucky to see that.”

Von was among many celebrities and prominent business leaders in attendance to watch Trump be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States at the US Capitol Rotunda, including UFC commentator Joe Rogan, who also interviewed Trump on his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” just weeks before the November election, UFC CEO Dana White, and UFC superstar Conor McGregor.

Other celebrities at the ceremony were retired NHL legend Wayne Gretzky, Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight, Comedian and celebrity roaster Jeffrey Ross, and Musician Kid Rock.

Tech giants Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Sundar Pichal, Tim Cook, and Elon Musk also attended Trump’s second inauguration on Monday.
