Who is Karoline Leavitt?

Karoline Leavitt was born on August 24, 1997, in New Hampshire.

She was announced as Donald Trump’s choice for press secretary in November 2024 – when she was just 27 years old.

Trump said that she would “excel at the podium and help deliver our message to the American People as we Make America Great Again”.

Taking the baton from Sean Spicer, Trump’s former press secretary, Karoline didn’t waste any time on her first day.

She hit out at Bishop Mariann Budde, who delivered a powerful speech on behalf of the LGBTQ+ and immigrants.

Karoline grew up in New Hampshire and studied communications and political science at Saint Anselm College.

During her time at school she landed an internship at Fox News as well as in Trump’s White House press office.

In 2020, she told Politico that she gained her “first glimpse into the world of press” thanks to these experiences.

Who is Nicholas Riccio?

Karoline and Nicholas got engaged on Christmas Day 2023.

She posted a picture of a huge diamond ring on her wedding finger, as well as snap of Nick down on one knee proposing.

She shared on Instagram: “The best Christmas of my life.

“I get to marry the man of my dreams. I feel SO overwhelmingly BLESSED. Thank you God.”

It’s unclear when they officially got married as they kept it private, but she has “wife” in her Instagram bio.

Nick, who is more than 30 years older than his wife, has an inspiring success story.

He went from living on the street to building a multimillion-dollar real estate business, Riccio Enterprises LLC.

His career started when he drove through a neighborhood in Hampton Beach, New Hampton.

The buildings were run down and needed renovation, so Nick decided to buy one of the houses and got to work.

By 2005 he had bought 15 of the buildings on M Street, including 70 living units.

He now owns properties spanning from Boston to the White Mountains.

Karoline and Nick welcomed their son Nicholas Robert in July 2024.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “July 10, 2024. 11:25PM. The moment our son was born. The moment I officially became a mom. The best moment of my life,”

She added: “It’s true when they say there’s nothing comparable to the love you feel for your child.

“My heart has grown bigger than I ever imagined possible.

“Babies are the ultimate blessing and I’m bursting with gratitude for our beautiful, happy, healthy boy.

“My son. I love you.”
