() The ex-girlfriend of a former person of interest in the Delphi murders case has exclusively told she believes he could have committed the killings.

Richard Allen’s attorneys filed a flurry of documents this week suggesting their client’s murder conviction for the 2017 killings of teenagers Abby Williams and Libby German in Delphi, Indiana, should be vacated over key errors the state allegedly made.

The defense alleges the state knew of a jailhouse confession from a man named Ron Logan and didn’t disclose the information.

Logan, the now-deceased homeowner of the property where the girls’ bodies were found, was a person of interest at the beginning of the investigation but was never charged.

Logan’s ex-girlfriend Connie Dillman joined “Banfield” Thursday with her take on the story.

“I know when he walks. I just had an intuition,” Dillman said in response to the video recorded on German’s phone of a man walking on a bridge, used as evidence in the case.

Dillman claims that as soon as she saw the video about “bridge guy,” she knew it was her ex-boyfriend.

“I know his build, and to me, that looks exactly like him. I mean, even when I seen the voice, you know, it sounded just like him,” she said.

Describing their relationship as “very volatile” and Logan as “aggressive” and “manipulative,” Dillman said her gut tells her he was involved.

“It’s not something I really want to relive, but I just know his nature. I know his property,” Dillman said. “I’m just going with my gut feelings, just the kind of person he is.”

Logan allegedly had an interest in young girls, according to Dillman, which led to fights between the couple.

“He sold a horse to a girl who didn’t live too far from there. She was 13 actually, and he was touchy, touchy with her,” she said. “It just didn’t feel right with me.”

Dillman said she reported Logan to police three or four times before seeing the video of “bridge guy.”

Allen’s lawyers are in court requesting his sentence be thrown out over errors in the case, including the alleged detailed confession Logan made in 2017.

Allen also confessed to the killings. In December last year, he was sentenced to 130 years in prison.
