Southern Charm Season 10, Episode 7 Recap: Performances By Molly And JT
Share and Follow

The conclusion of Southern Charm Season 10, Episode 6 showed fans that Salley Carson and Taylor Ann Green put their “bad blood” behind them after the former continued to talk negatively about Gaston Rojas, who she also dated. But, we all know that the women will come to blows with one another in a later episode thanks to a short clip in the season’s trailer.

In addition, the fallout between Craig Conover and Austen Kroll continues to play out as the former even suggested buying Austen out of their Pillows and Beer podcast. However, Craig seemed to be highly influenced by his now ex-girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo. Will fans see Craig having a change of heart?

Here’s also hoping that Venita Aspen wears a life jacket if she ever decides to cannonball into a pool again.

Taylor Ann Green’s Past Comes Back To Haunt Her

Season 10, Episode 7 begins with Venita going to Salley’s house the day after her housewarming party. The women discuss Salley and Taylor’s confrontation, with Salley believing that they had put their feud behind them. However, Salley left a bad taste in Taylor’s mouth, as Salley was allegedly warned not to trust Taylor by her own friends.

Going back to Season 9, Taylor lost the trust of many of her cast mates when she secretly kissed Austen Kroll, who just so happened to be Shep’s friend and her former best friend, Olivia Flowers’ ex-boyfriend. The cast were not on good terms with Taylor, and she had to slowly regain everyone’s trust. In a confessional, Venita expresses:

“All of us have kept it cordial with her, but because of what Taylor and Austen did behind Olivia’s back, I’m not just going to be like, ‘Hey girl, lets go hang out.'”

We then head over to Taylor’s house where she sits down with her boyfriend, Gaston, to talk about what Salley had said to her. For Taylor, she’s been working at rebuilding the trust she had lost from her peers, especially the women of the group. Salley making the comment that Taylor’s own friends told her to watch her back is extremely frustrating. Is Salley spinning a lie to hurt Taylor and have her friends distance themselves from her? Or, is that how they really feel?

In a confessional, Taylor shares, “I’m trying to build back, I guess the trust that I lost with the girls because of everything that happened last year.”

“It seems like Salley is trying to reinforce their opinions of me.”

Gone Fishing With Captain Austin

The men keep their word from the previous episode and go on a fishing trip. Craig, JT, and Shep are seen meeting up with their fishing captain, who just so happens to be named Austin. This is certainly going to anger their friend, Austen, but in a confessional, Craig implies that the Trop Hop Beers owner is “only hurting himself” by having this lingering hate towards JT.

JT really wants to rekindle his friendships with both Shep and Craig. In fact, JT despises the water, and he is too afraid to even pick up bait, but he’s doing it because he wants to fix what’s broken.

Craig sees the good in JT, stating that “it’s hard to say no to the nice guy.” However, he also knows there is that “other side that’s kinda crazy,” that he just can’t stand and that’s what makes him stay away from JT. Fans all know that JT resigned from the show mid-season. Did his “other side” come out and destroy his friendships?

The camera then pans over to Whitney Sudler-Smith’s man cave, which looks like something out of a James Bond movie mixed with Bruce Wayne’s Batcave. Whitney invites Austen and Madison over, and they quickly get into talking about the fishing trip after Shep posted a photo on Instagram.

Austen is still perplexed about Craig’s sudden friendship with JT. Madison also sides with Austen (something definitely new to her), because JT made that bizarre comment in Episode 3 that Madison’s husband thought she had an affair with him. Anyone trying to break up Madison’s family is definitely going to be on her bad side.

The three friends then discuss Craig admitting to Austen at Salley’s party that he wanted to “dissolve” their joint podcast, Pillows and Beer. Austen finds this completely out of left field. No matter how bad things were, Austen clearly didn’t know they were this bad.

In a confessional, Austen shares, “Craig and I have been together for so long that I just thought that the friendship just meant more to him, and it’s becoming increasingly clear to me that I don’t think he gives a s*** about friendship really, I just think he literally sees dollar signs in everything that he does.”

“It bums me out. I’m sad.”

Craig Conover Wonders About His Future With Paige DeSorbo

Craig is at his happy place—his beautiful Charleston home—where he hangs out with Shep. The two talk about their futures with their respective partners and Craig admits that he worries about Paige’s timeline for marriage and children. He can wait a couple of years for kids, but then wonders:

“But what I’m risking is what if Paige wants to turn those couple of years into 10 years?”

Well, fans all know that Paige and Craig are no longer together after the former announced on her Giggly Squad podcast in December 2024, that they had split. About a week later, Craig broke his silence and in an Instagram Story, shared that he was “very shocked” over the breakup.

Fans have assumed that the two broke up because of their long-distance relationship. Others believed that Paige would never move to Charleston because she was so focused on her booming career in New York City.

Meanwhile, Shep continues to share just how head over heels he is with his Bahamas babe, Sienna Evans. Shep revealed he dropped the “L-bomb” a little early, but he admitted that he’s ready to take their relationship to the next level. Is she?

Molly O’Connell Shines In Her Performance, While JT Thomas Gets Mixed Reviews

The gang show massive support for Molly O’Connell and attend the Charleston Concert Band where she plays the tuba. After the concert, they head over to JT’s event space, and of course, nothing goes smoothly.

JT and Taylor are having a good conversation, that is until he wants to inform her that Gaston is a known cheater. He divulges that he knows more about Salley’s relationship with Gaston, admitting that she was the other woman when he was in a relationship with his friend. Taylor doesn’t want to hear this and walks away from him. The whole group hears what’s going on, and it really sets off Craig.

Craig sees the “other side” of JT coming out. This is the JT he stays away from.

Before speaking to Taylor, JT shared that he wanted to “reintroduce” himself to the group because of their falling out at the Carolina Cup. However, he really is doing it all wrong.

When Taylor leaves, the group ask Salley about her relationship with Gaston. Surprisingly, she admits to being the other woman, but shares had no idea Gaston was dating someone else. She continued a relationship with him regardless, telling everyone she was “hooked.”

Even if JT is being honest and trying to protect Taylor from Gaston, most of the group thinks it’s really none of his business. If Taylor is happy, let her be happy. Still, JT can’t seem to accept that he went about it the wrong way. JT is confused about why telling “the truth is now the bad guy.”

As he exits his event space, Venita runs after him. Although we don’t know the extent of their relationship at this point, they were flirty at Molly’s concert, and we saw Venita whisper in Leva Bonaparte’s ear that JT looked good in his shirt.

In a January interview with Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap podcast, Venita revealed that she and JT dated. However, it was short-lived when “he popped up with a girlfriend on Instagram.” Before announcing his departure from the show, JT shared an Instagram post with a woman named Ali Pereless in November 2024.

We then hear JT telling Venita “I love you.” Although, this could just be a friendly “I love you,” as Venita was the only one to have his back.

In a confessional she shares, “I could see beyond the person he puts on in front of this group. Its like I get Jarrett and everyone else gets JT and JT has to be the big man in the room. Jarrett is like, soft, and like, tender and quiet and doesn’t put on in front of me. He just knows who I am.”

Season 10 of Southern Charm airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo and streams on Peacock the following day.
