Officials with the Florida Forest Service initially said the fire was around 50 acres, but later said the fire was 102 acres, but was “100% contained.”

According to OCFR, S.R. 429 is shut down in the area, but officials did not say what portion of the road is affected.

“Crews will remain in the area to continue mop-up operations. We will monitor the area for several days,” the Florida Forest Service said on social media.
