According to police reports, a 37-year-old employee tragically lost his life in an accident involving an MTA bus in midtown Manhattan. The incident occurred when the bus collided with a small boom lift on the sidewalk, causing the man in the lift’s bucket to be thrown onto the pavement.

The victim plummeted 20 feet from the lift while he was believed to be in the process of changing a billboard on top of a Victoria’s Secret store located on Fifth Avenue around 9:30 p.m. This information was confirmed by sources in law enforcement and corroborated by images captured at the scene.

His identity hasn’t been revealed pending family notification.

Photographs taken at the site depict the boom lift positioned on the sidewalk outside the lingerie and apparel store, with a large image of a partially clothed Gigi Hadid being lowered halfway down.
