Kevin Costner is teaming up with FOX Nation once again.

Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner, a three-part limited series marking Costner’s second project with the streamer following 2022’s Yellowstone: One-Fifty, follows Costner “as he traces the footsteps of the pivotal 1903 Yosemite expedition of 26th President Teddy Roosevelt and environmental advocate John Muir,” per a Jan. 27 press release.

The series promises “spectacular visuals of the geology, flora, and fauna of Glacier Point to El Capitan, Yosemite Falls and more.”

As for Costner, he’s expected to bring viewers along on a tale of the “fascinating journey and long battles to preserve the American frontier” and “the journey that changed America.”

Costner shared a statement in today’s press release praising the story of the Yosemite exploration as “a story that has that truly special mix of elements.”

“The story of President Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir’s camping trip through Yosemite is one of those truly special ones, and I’m excited to dig into the next chapter of the preservation of the American frontier,” he said.

In 1903, Roosevelt and Muir journeyed through Yosemite, where the president was so stunned by the area that he expanded federal protection of the region to create five national parks, 18 national monuments, 55 national bird sanctuaries and wildlife refuges and 150 national forests, per the National Park Service.

Costner’s 2022 series honored the 150th anniversary of Yellowstone National Park — fitting for the Yellowstone alum, who guided viewers through the park’s history and showcased its beauty across four episodes.

The news of Costner’s newest series arrives shortly after his Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 landed on Netflix right before the New Year. A recent Life & Style report claimed that Costner was hoping for “a big check” from the streamer for his project.

The first episode of Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner premieres on Saturday, Feb. 8. Take a look at the teaser trailer above.
