Mary Cosby opened up about the DMs she’s exchanged with Jared Osmond after last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

As Angie Katsanevas, 51, wondered if Britani Bateman‘s boyfriend was “fascinated” by Mary, 52, and Whitney Rose, 38, suspected he was simply wanting a way into their group amid his up-and-down romance with her castmate, Mary reflected on their interaction and Britani, 53, explained a special “moment” they shared.

“Mary called me, like, ‘Guess who just slid into my DMs,’” Whitney recalled on the January 22 episode of the RHOSLC: After Show. “From my memory, he called her a dear friend and told her she’s beautiful. And I think yeah, Mary liked that. It probably made her feel good.”

“Who is Jared not hitting on in DMs?” Bronwyn Newport, 39, replied.

Meanwhile, in their own segment, Angie questioned Mary about the nature of Jared’s DMs, wondering if Jared had sent any photos or made her feel like he was saying, “Mary, come on over here, girl.”

“No,” Mary confirmed.

Still, Angie was convinced Jared had something for her castmate.

“He just barely started following me last week so he was really into you. He came into my house and still didn’t follow me. It sounds like he was sliding his way in there,” Angie admitted. “Do you think he’s fascinated with you?”

“I don’t think about it like that,” Mary explained.

According to Mary, she isn’t sure what Jared is doing when it comes to his social media activity.

“I’m out of shape when it comes to guys and men and if they’re hitting on me. My son’s like, ‘Mom, you still got it.’ And I was like, ‘No I don’t.’ I do not. He follows me and he’s always active on my page, even till this day,” she revealed.

Looking back at their time together, Mary said Jared was taken aback by one of her prayers.

“I think when I prayed, I feel like he came up to me, he was like, ‘I felt it. You’re a woman of God and I felt it,’” she detailed. “I’m like, ‘Okay, well where’s Britani?’ He wanted to be at my house. He wanted to come to our event.”

As Jared attempted to grow closer to Mary, Britani seemed to understand. 

“Apparently, they had a moment after we left the Mafia party. They sat and had a moment on the couch, said a prayer,” she stated.

Also on the RHOSLC: After Show, Whitney raised questions about his intentions with Mary.

“I think Jared was just looking for any way into the group. If Britani wasn’t getting it done, he wanted to be around, and he found his way through Mary’s heart: A compliment,” she said. “It’s the Osmond family. It’s not really anything to do with the nieces, nephews, second cousins, it’s Donny and Marie.”
