Young intruders have stolen a Mercedes-Benz from a home in Brisbane, with part of the joyride captured on the car’s dashcam.

The group of alleged teen thieves then set their sights on a Rolls-Royce valued at more than $1 million at the same home.

“Where the f— is the handbrake?” A person believed to be one of the teenagers can be heard saying on the dashcam recording from the stolen Mercedes.

The group broke into Dan Murphy’s home as his adult children slept inside, smashing a window to get the keys to the Mercedes.

“Where are the Rolls-Royce keys?” a person asks in the recording.

They didn’t have any luck on that front.

“My name’s Billy – not silly,  I do hide them,” Murphy told 9News.

Another group of teenagers could be seen pulling up nearby in a stolen BMW.

They take off quickly, initially unaware the joyride is being recorded.

Murphy said driving the Rolls was “like being on a king-sized bed, with fourteen mattresses and 82 doonas”.

“It goes extremely fast, very quick,” he said.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been over the speed limit.”

While Murphy is relieved his prized possession was left untouched, he’s not taking any second chances, choosing to house the car elsewhere.

“That won’t be here anymore and neither will I,” he said.

“And no one else! We’re going to depart.”

Surprisingly, he says he feels sorry for the intruders who broke into his home.

“There’s no role models for these guys,” Murphy said.

“They need understanding and love.”

Police are still searching for the group of teenagers.
