American Airlines Flight Collides with Military Helicopter in DC – Search and Rescue Operations in Progress

A collision occurred between an American Airlines flight from Wichita, Kansas, and a military helicopter at Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29th.

Some 300 first responders worked overnight in dark, cold and windy conditions to find survivors.
