On March 26 (the same day as the Mythic Quest season finale), all four episodes of Side Quest, a new spin-off of Mythic Quest will premiere on Apple TV+.
What is this new spin-off, you might be asking yourself? Think back to Season 1 of MQ; remember “A Dark Quiet Death,” the episode that charted the complete lifecycle of a predecessor to the Mythic Quest game? Side Quest will be similar to that (and other MQ anthology episodes “Backstory!” and “Sarian”).
The anthology season will include four self-contained episodes that depict the impact that the Mythic Quest game has on employees, players, and fans.
In addition to McElhenney, who will reprise his role from the main series, Side Quest will feature the following actors: Esai Morales, Annamarie Kasper, Shalita Grant, Bria Henderson, Rome Flynn, Ramon Reed, Leonard Robinson, Derek Waters, Anna Konkle, Van Crosby, Alice Wen, Melanie Brook, Justin Jarzombek, and David Calvillo.
