Troopers said that during the pursuit, they reached speeds of 70 mph before finally conducting a PIT maneuver on Lake Silver Drive North, which caused the vehicle to rotate into a tree.

A further search of the vehicle uncovered a black and green colored backpack on the floor on the passenger side. Inside the backpack troopers discovered two handguns, multiple types of narcotics, empty plastic bags, and a scale with residue.
Troopers also found $1,211 in cash located in Everett’s pocket.
FHP said that while they were conducting their search Everett uttered multiple times, “Everything is mine” and that Davis “had nothing to do with it.”
Troopers also discovered that Davis, the alleged driver of the vehicle, did not have a valid driver’s license.
FHP arrested both individuals and charged Davis with fleeing to elude high speeds and driving without a valid license.
Everett was discovered by FHP to have outstanding warrants for his arrest. He also received multiple gun and drug charges.
