Tasha Ghouri has dropped a bombshell hint that the dreaded Strictly Curse may have torpedoed her romance with Love Island beau Andrew Le Page.

The Love Island dancer, 26, stirred up speculation that the notorious “curse” of Strictly Come Dancing played a role in the breakdown of her relationship with fellow islander Andrew, 29.

The couple met during the ninth season of Love Island in 2023, and the reality TV beauty went on to cha-cha her way to the Strictly final last year with dancing ace Aljaz Skorjanec, 34.

However, since its inception in 2004, the BBC dance extravaganza has been no stranger to relationship woes among its stars, with numerous participants and their partners succumbing to broken romances following their tenure on the show.

Earlier this year, Tasha and Andrew announced their split, setting tongues wagging just weeks after her dazzling performance in the live final.

A pre-breakup chat Tasha had with The Sun about her Strictly days before news of the split leaked has resurfaced, causing fans to trawl through her past comments for clues about the end of her love story with Andrew.

In a now poignant revelation, Tasha gushed about her time on the dancefloor: “I can’t even put into words how incredible the experience was. Like, honestly, every day, I’ve been on YouTube watching all the dances we did. Andrew’s getting sick of it,” reports the Mirror.

She divulged emotionally: “He is literally like, ‘Tasha!’. I just can’t get over it because the experience was just so surreal and once it ends it just ends. And that was the hardest part, you know that was it, you’re never dancing in that ballroom again.”

Tasha’s candid confession comes hot on the heels of news breaking about her recent split. An insider previously claimed: “Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly.”

Dedicated to the fiercely competitive nature of the contest, they said: “She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time slipped by.”

Expanding further, the source revealed: “Now she’s going off on tour she’s going to be away from Andrew again. They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she’s heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman.”

Another confidant close to both speculated that Tasha and her beau had “hit a rocky patch” leading to their breakup.
