New additions coming the Augusta Sculpture Trail

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The City of Augusta and the Greater Augusta Arts Council announced Thursday that 10 new sculptures will be installed along the Augusta Sculpture Trail.

The Augusta Sculpture Trail is a path of public art sculptures placed through Downtown Augusta leading to the Riverwalk and 5th Street Pedestrian Bridge.

According to the Arts Council, ribbon cutting celebrating the new installations is scheduled to take place this spring, though an official time and date has not yet been determined.

The sculptures are available for public view for the next two years, and all works are for sale.

In addition to the installations of new artwork, the Arts Council announced that some of the sculptures have been purchased from the trail, including the following pieces:
