90 Day Fiancé star Asuelu Pulaa said his visa has “expired” and he is “deporting” to his native Samoa in a video shared from what appears to be immigration services in the United States.

Asuelu, 29, claimed that he may be forced to leave America in a video shared on Friday, January 31, telling fans, “I’m deporting back” and that his visa, green card, and papers have all “expired.”

In the video he first posted to TikTok before uploading to Instagram, he was seated by himself in an empty room near a Department of Homeland Security flag. “I will forever see you my Samoa #deporting,” Asuelu captioned his post, leading fans to ask many questions about how he would continue to see his kids, Oliver and Kennedy.

“Is he getting deported or going back on his own … for a visit … permanently … what’s happening,” one social media user asked while others questioned if he was actually leaving the States.

Asuelu appears to be maintaining a positive outlook, later taking to TikTok with a follow-up video in which he admitted to being “broken” but grateful for all of life’s blessings.

This relocation would be a big change for the TLC personality, who has been living in the States for seven years.

The reality star made his TV debut during season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé with now-ex Kalani Faagata. The former couple tied the knot in September 2018 and welcomed two kids together but decided to call it quits after going through a tumultuous breakup.

Kalani, 36, and Asuelu announced their separation on the season 1 finale of 90 Day: The Last Resort, which aired on October 30, 2023. During the spinoff series, he admitted to being unfaithful throughout their marriage. Kalani revealed that Asuelu cheated on her while on a trip to visit his dad in Samoa and said there were other instances of infidelity as well.

Kalani ultimately moved on romantically with Dallas Nuez after ending her relationship with Asuelu. On The Last Resort, the mom of three revealed that Asuelu previously gave her a “hall pass” to kiss someone else as a way to even out the playing field for his cheating, which is how she ended up connecting with Dallas.

Kalani and Dallas went on to welcome a daughter, Masina Bee, who was born in June 2024.

“Masina is a girl’s name of Somoan origin, meaning moon. It’s a variant of Salamasina, the name of a Somoan queen,” Kalani revealed about her little one’s moniker in an Instagram Stories post. “Bee is my sister’s nickname and my mom’s favorite creature lol,” Kalani added, referring to sister Kolini and mother Lisa.

Despite the former couple’s painful split, Kalani and Asuelu have continued to coparent their boys. In Touch reported on the duo enjoying a trip to Disneyland with their blended family last October. More recently, Asuelu and Kalani celebrated Oliver’s seventh birthday.

“Happy Birthday to the coolest 7 year old boy, with the most loving heart,” Kalani gushed on Instagram on January 27. “I’m so lucky to be your mama, Joodie. I love you forever.”
