Taylor Sheridan’s newest hit finished ahead of Disney+’s beloved Bluey (No. 4) and a slew of popular network TV shows like The Equalizer (No. 5) and Grey’s Anatomy (No. 6) to capture the streaming bronze. Can I ask a potentially crazy question? Is Landman the new Yellowstone?

If you recall, Yellowstone performed modestly before eventually morphing into a ratings juggernaut. Landman appears to be following a similar trajectory as the buzz continues to grow and more and more people stream the show.

Will There Be a Landman Season 2?

Landman has yet to be officially renewed for a second season, but we’re 99.9% sure it’ll be back for another season. The series was not only one of the most-watched streaming shows of 2024, but it also earned critical acclaim with a 77% Tomatometer score.

Landman star Demi Moore seemingly confirmed a second season while promoting The Substance in May 2024.

“I’ve already completed the first season and I’m excited for us to start the second, which will be at the beginning of next year,” Moore said during a talk at the American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival.

Star Billy Bob Thornton said something similar to Entertainment Weekly in August 2024.

“I understand that if we’re going to do that, Season 2, that it’s going to be sometime around February, March, somewhere in there,” Thornton said.

And most recently, Ali Larter was asked by Elle if production had a timeline for the next season. After confirming that they do in fact have a timeline in place, she said: “Just announce it!”

Again, we don’t have any official confirmation, but, c’mon, Landman‘s not going anywhere.
