Inside Trump loyalist Pam Bondi's VERY turbulent love life

She’s maintained a very successful career as a lobbyist and politician, and Pam Bondi is now enjoying the role of US attorney general thanks to President Donald Trump.

The 59-year-old, who began her career as a prosecutor and spokeswoman in Hillsborough County, Florida, has certainly climbed the ranks in the world of politics – but she has a rather colorful personal life too.

Bondi has been married twice – with both unions ending in divorce – as well as also being engaged once more over a decade ago before settling down with current boyfriend John Wakefield.

The blonde beauty first tied the knot back in 1990 when she married Garret Barnes at the age of 24.

However, the marriage was short lived and lasted just 22 months before they parted ways.

In 1996, Bondi went on to marry Scott Fitzgerald but that union also ended in divorce in 2002.

Ten years later, Bondi – who holds a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice – got engaged to ophthalmologist Greg Henderson.

The pair sparked rumors that they had secretly wed that same year in 2012 after being photographed at a luxury Caribbean resort, with Bondi wearing a white dress.

However, Bondi later clarified to Tampa Bay Times that they had canceled their planned destination wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman and intended to marry in a private ceremony at a Tampa-area Baptist church instead.

‘We are enjoying a happy and blessed trip and are deeply in love with each other,’ she said in a statement at the time.

In 2015, rumors began to swirl that Bondi had split from father-of-four Henderson but since she keeps much of her personal life private, little is known about the split.

Bondi, who was born in Temple Terrace, Florida, has since found love again with her current beau.

Wakefield first appeared on Bondi’s Instagram back in October 2017 when they took a selfie together at a Bruno Mars concert with friends.

Her Instagram profile picture is one of her and Wakefield, and the most recent photo of them together was shared on October 22 last year, which was taken at a Buccaneers game.

He appears to have to have three children from a previous relationship as his Instagram bio reads: ‘My three monster children are roaming the world.’

And when Bondi wished him a happy birthday back in October 2017, she shared a snap of Wakefield in a swimming pool with three children and a dog.

Some reports have claimed that Bondi is engaged to Bondi, but neither of them have confirmed the rumors – and she seems very much focused on her career at the moment.

More recently, Bondi’s social media posts have been politics-related and just weeks before the November US election, she shared a snap of her with Trump, 78.

Bondi has been loyal to Trump for many years, even claiming there were ‘fake ballots’ and attending Rudy Giuliani’s infamous Four Seasons Landscaping press conference where he claimed Trump won Pennsylvania.

Bondi also endorsed Trump over her fellow Floridian Marco Rubio in 2016 and spoke at his first convention.

She has been a close advisor to the President-elect for many years, and now, he’s rewarding her loyalty by nominating her for attorney general.
