Travis Kelce maybe suiting up for his third consecutive Super Bowl this week but the Kansas City Chiefs star hinted he may be bigger things on his mind. 

The tight end has famously been dating pop sensation Taylor Swift for over 18 months with the A-List couple consistently supporting each other throughout their high-profile endeavors.

And as Kelce prepares to reach the mountain top of the NFL once again on Sunday, speculation has begun to swirl around a potential Super Bowl proposal. 

The songstress is expected to be in attendance at Caesars Superdome to cheer on her NFL beau once again this weekend and some fans have speculated Kelce could get down on one knee if the Chiefs hoist the Lombardi Trophy. 

The three-time Super Bowl was asked whether wedding bells were on the horizon during Super Bowl LIX Opening Night Monday but he remained extremely coy. 

‘Wouldn’t you like to know,’ he teased when asked if he was set to pop the question to the 14-time Grammy Award winner.

Kelce also commented on his and Swift’s perfectly-scripted love story, seemingly revealing the key to their success. 

‘I think we both love to manifest things,’ he said, while seated on the podium at Caesars Superdome. ‘You can’t say it’s not real because we’re here, right?’

Kelce revealed that his relationship with Swift helps him on the football field by providing motivation that he needs to work as hard as she does to remain at the top of his game.

‘I better hold up my end of the bargain,’ he said. ‘If she’s out here being the superstar she is, never taking no for an answer, and always working her tail off, I better match that energy for sure.’

Despite Kelce’s teasing, sources have previously told DailyMail.com that should the couple become engaged it will likely be a private affair. 

The Kansas City Chiefs star’s family have been teasing the star about the constant rumors, helping to make light of the outside pressure, while also adding some of their own.

The source said: ‘His family jokes with him about a wedding and pits him up against his brother whose wife is already popping out more babies.

It appears the couple is getting through it together, by finding the humor in the situation.

Kelce revealed that his relationship with the hitmaker provides him with on-field motivation 

‘Taylor and Travis find it extremely humorous that they have been engaged every day since they got together,’ a friend of the singer exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com.

The source continued: ‘These engagement rumors started from day one and they do not know how they can even have a public engagement at this point.’

The well-placed source noted that constant public attention that the couple’s relationship receives has all but ensured that their engagement will be a private one.

‘Travis is going to have to go above and beyond but it won’t be a public spectacle,’ the source added. ‘They are both aware of the fact that the whole world is so thirsty for them to be engaged and, while Taylor does want a white wedding one day, her friends just feel like people need to chill and let them be a couple.’

Making it clear that the couple are in no rush to take things to the next level, the source continued: ‘When the time comes, people will know about it. But they are going to keep some things private and will have elaborate plans in place to ensure secrecy.

‘They are not worried about those close to them leaking info because people who know them respect this.

‘When and if Travis does make this happen it will be for Taylor and for Taylor only.’

Swift previously sparked engagement rumors when posing for a picture with Chiefs friends Brittany Mahomes and Lyndsay Bell, as well as her close pal Ashley Avignone, at a party in December.

However, while it remains unclear when Kelce could be getting down on one knee, he has previously revealed on his ‘New Heights’ podcast with brother Jason when Swift should not expect to get married.

During the episode, the Kelce brothers were asked for their thoughts on a fan’s desire not to have his wedding at the height of football season.

‘I actually don’t know people who’ve gotten married in the fall because all the weddings I’ve been to and all my friends always do it in the summer,’ he told brother Jason.

‘You gotta be willing to find a weekend where the team isn’t playing anybody good maybe.

‘Also, if you really do have a problem with that, maybe it’s in her best interest to not have it in the fall so that she knows you’re invested in the anniversary every time it comes around.

‘I’ve seen weddings in f***ing February. I’ve seen weddings everywhere but the fall.

‘So I’m not sure if the fall was a good wedding season.’
