Taylor Swift is inspiring Travis Kelce to bring his A game to the Super Bowl.

Kelce, 35, praised his girlfriend at a press conference on Monday, February 3, six days before he’ll hit the field with the Kansas City Chiefs to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. 

“I better hold up my end of the bargain, alright?” Kelce said at the presser. “If she’s out here being the superstar she is, never taking no for an answer, and always working her tail off, you know, I better match that energy, for sure.”

He also answered pre-game questions about where Swift’s family loyalties lie, since her dad, Scott Swift, has long rooted for the Eagles.

“I don’t know her to have the [Eagles] fandom,” Kelce said Monday. “I know her father has the Philadelphia fandom — as an Eagles fan.” 

Kelce said that he and Scott, 72, have not discussed which team he’ll be rooting for during Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX, “but I think he’ll be wearing red.”

As for Taylor, 35, “She’ll be all for the Chiefs this time around, that’s for sure,” he added.

The tight end was also asked about the pop star’s culinary skills and his favorite dish of hers.

“She’s quite the cook,” he gushed. “I would say — man, I’m a breakfast guy. Her Pop-Tarts are unbelievable. Man. Homemade Pop-Tarts: unbelievable.”

While Kelce prepares for the biggest night in sports, Swift “liked” a post from the Chiefs’ official Instagram account that showed her boyfriend arriving in New Orleans on Sunday, February 2. She’s expected to attend and cheer him on, as she did last year, when she brought a star-studded entourage that included pals Blake Lively, Ice Spice, Lana Del Rey, Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Teller, not to mention her parents and brother Austin Swift. 

It’s safe to say that Swift is Kelce’s most famous cheerleader. She showed up to support his AFC Championship game on January 26, and was caught on camera expressing her pride in Kelce as he helped the Chiefs defeat the Buffalo Bills — and secure a spot in the Super Bowl. Afterward, Swift joined Kelce on the field and was heard telling him, “I love you so much. I’m so proud of you. I can’t stand it.”

As confetti fell upon them, Swift held Kelce’s face in her hands and said: “Look what you did! Look what you did!” She then gestured to the cheering crowd and added, “Look at this. Look at this. This is not a real-life situation. … I cannot believe this is really happening. I’m in shock.”
