Married At First Sight bride Jacqui Burfoot was reduced to tears on Tuesday night’s episode during a controversial photo ranking challenge.

The couples were tasked with ranking their ‘significant’ others against their counterparts, and a crestfallen Jacqui was shocked when she saw where she sat in her groom Ryan Donnelley’s estimation.

Jacqui was first to play the game and placed Ryan at the top of the list behind Jeff Gobells.

‘I’m feeling very attracted to Ryan. There’s definitely a spark and I think we are on the same page,’ she gushed to camera.

However, Jacqui’s hopes were soon dashed when it was Ryan’s turn to play the game.

Before he got up to play, a nervous Jacqui said to camera that she should be a shoo-in for the challenge.

‘I used to be a model and was even Miss New Zealand. And I’ve got brains as well,’ she said.

However, Ryan revealed before his attempt that he was going to be 100 per cent honest with this list.

‘I’m going to follow what’s true to my instincts and rate them accordingly,’ he said.

‘There’s no other way. I’m not here to f*** around.’

Astonishingly, Ryan placed Jacqui in third place behind Carina Mirabile and Rhi Disljenkovic.

Ryan appeared quite taken with Rhi, who he describes as having ‘the rarest combination of blue eyes and dark hair.’

Jacqui could barely hide her disappointment as Ryan explained his choice, bizarrely admitting that he struggled to place Jacqui third above Sierah Swepstone.

‘I’d probably put you two as equally attractive or maybe her more attractive if she wasn’t quite so tall,’ he said.

‘Sierah, to me, has a much more attractive face.’

The revelation proved to much for Jacqui who was scathing in her rebuttal.

‘It’s pretty s*** to know that my partner has no care about my feelings,’ she said.

‘I deserve a man who makes me feel like the most special person in the world and puts me first.

‘I feel like putting your partner first is just such an easy thing –  to put your relationship in the strongest position to move forward.’

Speaking to producers, Jacqui broke down in tears as she revealed her disappointment with Ryan’s decision.

‘I have no words,’ she said, sobbing.

‘I deserve someone who makes me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world and that’s not Ryan.’

She continued: ‘He’s a low-effort man who deserves a low effort girl. And that’s not me.’

It comes after Jacqui was left sobbing shortly after the ceremony when she was forced to ‘take the lead’ in the relationship.

The pair were posing for their post-ceremony photos and Jacqui objected to having to be assertive and take Ryan’s hand, as he had not offered.

‘That’s one thing I wanted, a man to take the lead,’ the Sydney consultant said, becoming upset.

‘Because I don’t want to be the one…’ she trailed off, before bursting into bizarre, tearless sobs.
