Paige DeSorbo took to her podcast on Monday to deny a series of rumors that have surfaced since her breakup from Craig Conover.

Following claims of cheating and a new romance with Joe D’Amelio, the 32-year-old Summer House cast member is firing back, revealing the actual timeline of her breakup with Craig, 35, denying he was blindsided by the split, insisting she was never unfaithful, and more.

“I’m saying this here and now and then I’m never saying it again: I never in the three years that I dated my ex-boyfriend, I never physically cheated on him [and I never] emotionally cheated on him,” Paige declared on the February 3 episode of Giggy Squad. “I didn’t want to do a back-and-forth. But since no one’s sticking up for me on the other side or perpetuating even more rumors, I will say that Craig and I broke up Thanksgiving weekend. Okay? That’s at the end of November.”

According to Paige, even after their breakup, Craig insisted they were still together.

“[Craig] did press for Southern Charm, did whatever he needed to do, acting as if we were still together, and that was fine: I said that he could do that. He was processing in his own way,” she explained. “Christmas came and went. Then I saw that my ex-boyfriend was on a trip presenting himself as single. And I said, ‘Oh, here we go, we’re ready to announce.’ I then texted him and said, whilst he was on this trip and said I’m going to say something on Giggly Squad and we can both start moving forward. It’s been a full month now.”

“My text went unanswered,” she continued. 

While Paige thought it was “fine” that Craig didn’t respond, she didn’t appreciate the narrative that followed the news of their split — some of which came from Craig himself.

“Let me say this here and now: I did not move on with some new guy. I am single. I don’t have a new boyfriend. I did not cheat on my ex-boyfriend. And it was a full month that we were broken up and I didn’t say anything,” Paige revealed. “Since I announced our breakup, I have been acting single because I am single.”

Paige went on to say that while she “asked” Craig to come out and say that she “didn’t cheat,” he refused to do so. 

“He said that he didn’t want to say anything about the breakup. So any of the other baseless rumors that have my name in them, they are not true,” she stated. “When you have a relationship, things happen in your relationship. You take inventory of them, you evaluate, and then you decide whether you want to go forth with that relationship and that’s what I did. I decided that I did not want to go forth with that relationship.”

“But no one was blindsided. No one was cheated on,” she added, denying Craig’s claim that the split was “very unexpected.”

“I don’t want to be the victim ever but I also don’t want to be the villain. I think this is the last we need to speak of it,” Paige concluded.
