The man arrested is currently in custody on a $2,305,033 bond, according to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office records.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man has been charged with nine felonies after a “major drug bust” happened at a Jacksonville home last week, according to a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Facebook post made on Monday.

The sheriff’s office did not state in the post what date the incident occurred on, but said patrol officers initially responded to the home, located on Thomas Street off McDuff Avenue South, in reference to a “domestic dispute.”

“Upon arrival, they observed a large quantity of drugs in plain view,” JSO’s post states. “The officers immediately called in Narcotics detectives, who uncovered a significant stash.”

The post says the following items were seized:

  • 17.7 grams of fentanyl
  • 1,661.8 grams (1.5+ kilos) of cocaine
  • 71.5 grams of ecstasy
  • 18.5 grams of oxycodone pills
  • 435.6 grams of marijuana
  • Six firearms (including one stolen gun)
  • Two fully automatic switches
  • $2,759 in cash

32-year-old Charles Land, who JSO said is a convicted felon, faces the charges listed below related to the seizure of items, according to JSO records:

  • Trafficking in dangerous fentanyl or fentanyl analogues
  • Trafficking in cocaine
  • Trafficking in ecstasy
  • Knowingly own or rent a structure or vehicle to be used for drug manufacturing
  • Possession of marijuana with intent to sell/manufacture/deliver
  • Use/possess/manufacture paraphernalia to be used to transport drugs
  • Possession of a controlled substance (two counts)
  • Possession and distribution of imitation controlled substance prohibited

Land remains in custody on a $2,305,033 bond, records show; he was arrested on Thursday.

“Busts like this make our streets safter for everyone,” JSO said in the post.
