Allison Holker alleges that her deceased spouse, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, accumulated a million tax debt due to his extravagant expenditure on narcotics and unconventional artwork.

The pro dancer made the allegations in her new memoir, “This Far: My Story of Love, Loss and Embracing the Light,” telling readers that “it’s a misconception” that she inherited Boss’ wealth.

“The reality is quite different. He had given away substantial sums of money to family and friends and spent recklessly on drugs and his weird art collections,” she claimed. “The tax bill that he left me with for the year he died was $1 million.”

Holker added that things got complicated because he hadn’t left a will at the time of his death.

She also explained that they “always maintained separate bank accounts” and paying off his tax bill “depleted his accounts.”

“I had been under the impression that the arrangement was working just fine,” she continued. “He managed his income, and I managed mine, and we divvied up the bills. Easy-peasy. Or so I thought.”

Though Holker admitted that sorting out the family’s financial situation “provided a distraction” from her grief, she was “still in the trenches” when it came to providing for her kids.

Holker, 36, and Boss shared son Maddox, 8, and daughter Zaia, 5. Boss also adopted Holker’s daughter Weslie, 16, whom she welcomed from a previous relationship.

“If he had known how much of our hard-earned money would go to pay lawyers’ fees to clean up the mess he left me with, would it have made any difference?” she further said in her memoir.

“I’d like to believe it would have. Stephen left me with double the work, double the noise, double the hardships, double the confusion — and half the household earnings.”

In her memoir, Holker also claimed that “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” DJ was constantly high and barely showered.

“He was smoking [marijuana] in the morning and at night. It’s almost as if he used one strain of pot at the start of the day to become ‘tWitch,’ then used another at night to come down from that persona,” she alleged.

Holker claimed that Boss was also “sneaking out to smoke” while on the set of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“To the best of my knowledge, nobody knew. He was really good at hiding it,” she continued. “If I had been aware of the extent of his usage, I would have gone into protector mode right away.”

After “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” was canceled in May 2022, Boss’ hygiene allegedly “suffered.”

“I would find myself pleading with him to take a shower,” she wrote. “At the time I thought he was too tired to properly care for himself. Now I know that neglecting self-care is another classic sign of depression.”

After Boss died by suicide in December 2022 at age 40, Holker opened up about his alleged drug addiction, as well as the alleged child abuse he suffered in his childhood.

Boss’ family spoke out in his defense, with his mom, Connie Boss Alexander, saying she was “appalled” by her late son’s widow’s “hurtful” claims.

“Our family is absolutely appalled by the misleading and hurtful claims made about my son, Stephen Boss,” she wrote on Instagram in early January.

“The recent publications spreading untruths about Stephen have crossed every line of decency. As his mother, I will not let these accusations go unanswered. We will not stand by while his name and legacy are tarnished.”

Holker, who married Boss in 2013, was then forced to defend her decision to share their story in her memoir with her own social media statement.

“To fans of Stephen and our family and friends, I want to be clear that my only intention in writing the book is to share my own story as well as part of my life with Stephen to help other people,” she wrote.

“Just like you, I never really knew what happened, and even as I am trying to put the pieces together I will never really know.”
