TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Busch Gardens Tampa is introducing two new events to ring in the romance season for those seeking love and adventure.

As Valentine’s Day approaches, the theme park is offering romantic adventures to make Busch Gardens the ultimate destination.

Couples can embark on an all-new Sunset on the Serengeti, available exclusively on Saturdays throughout February. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., right around sunset, guests can go on a scenic safari tour, followed by a walking tour of Edge of Africa.

The safari will give up-close views of the African animals, including lions, hyenas, hippos, and giraffes. The adventure will wrap up at Treetop Kitchen, where couples can enjoy a romantic dinner and a complimentary cocktail, with a stunning view of the 65-acre Serengeti Plain.

For visitors wanting that extra romance, Busch Gardens is also offering an after-dark Valentine’s Date Night event from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15.

After the park closes, the Egypt area will transform into a retreat featuring a charcuterie and dessert buffet for two. Couples can enjoy an exclusive ride to Montu and Cobra’s Curse under the stars, live entertainment, and the chance to compete for fun prizes.
