The new OC will join the Jaguars from the Minnesota Vikings.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars have officially named Grant Udinski as their new offensive coordinator, the team announced Wednesday.

Udinski, who is entering his sixth season in the NFL, will take on his inaugural role as an offensive coordinator. Before joining the Jaguars, he spent three years with the Minnesota Vikings, where he held the positions of assistant offensive coordinator and assistant quarterbacks coach. His tenure with Minnesota saw the team’s offense excel, finishing in the top 10 for several key metrics in the 2024 season, including sixth in passing yards per game and ninth in points scored.

Notably, during his time with the Vikings, Udinski played a role in the development of quarterback Sam Darnold, who made history by achieving 14 wins in his first season with the team—a record for any quarterback in the league.

Prior to this, Udinski managed four different starting quarterbacks—a franchise record.

Udinski’s coaching journey began as a graduate assistant at Baylor in 2019, followed by a stint as a coaching assistant with the Carolina Panthers from 2020 to 2021. Before transitioning to coaching, he played defensive end at Towson University, where he showcased his on-field skills as a player.

“Grant will bring a wealth of knowledge, energy, and a winning mindset to help elevate our offense here in Jacksonville. He is a rising star in this league and has been a cornerstone of success for the Vikings organization. We are eager to see him lead our offensive unit,” said Head Coach Liam Coen.
