Sharon Osbourne says husband Ozzy can no longer walk as Parkinson’s worsens

Ozzy Osbourne is finding it difficult to walk due to his struggle with Parkinson’s disease. However, despite this challenge, Sharon Osbourne has mentioned that his singing voice remains as strong and impressive as ever.

The “Crazy Train” rocker, 76, who has been living with the brain disorder since 2019, announced his final farewell show with Black Sabbath this week before he fully retires from the rock-and-roll lifestyle.

“He’s very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this,” Sharon told the Sun of her husband’s last hurrah.

“Parkinson’s is a progressive disease. It’s not something you can stabilize. It affects different parts of the body and it’s affected his legs,” she went on. “But his voice is as good as it’s ever been.”

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer announced his final gig in a social media post on Wednesday, revealing that the original members of Black Sabbath are reuniting for the first time in 20 years for the show.

The “Back to the Beginning” charity concert will take place July 5 at Villa Park in England.

In addition to the Black Sabbath members — Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward — the performing lineup also includes Metallica, Slayer, Lamb of God, Alice in Chains and Anthrax.

And while a host of stars will likely attend the show, one celebrity who won’t be welcome is Kanye West after he sampled Black Sabbath’s hit track “Iron Man” without their permission.

“No, not at all,” Sharon said when asked if the “Jesus Walks” rapper would be welcome at the gig. “I wouldn’t have him anywhere near. And his wife’s a big old floppy a–e, either. And her sagging t–s.”

Earlier this week, the former “Talk” co-host said that her husband is determined to put on one final show amid his health woes.

“He’s doing great. He’s doing really great,” Sharon, 72, told BBC News. “He’s so excited about this, about being with the guys again and all his friends. It’s exciting for everyone.”

“Ozzy didn’t have a chance to say goodbye to his friends, to his fans, and he feels there’s been no full stop. This is his full stop.”

Osbourne helped form Black Sabbath in Birmingham in 1968, and the group became one of the most successful metal bands of all time.

The group last performed together at the 2005 Ozzfest Tour, after which Ward, 76, left the group. Black Sabbath’s 19th and final studio album was released in 2013.

As for his ailing health, the rocker has undergone three operations, stem cell treatments, physical therapy and Hybrid Assistive Limb treatment.

Osbourne quit touring in early 2023 because of his many health issues. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2003, underwent multiple surgeries after falling in 2019, and had spinal surgery in September 2023.

In November 2023, he said he has “at best 10 years left” to live.

He also said at the time that a recent back surgery left him “practically crippled,” and a “second surgery went drastically wrong.”
