ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WGN) — The son of former Chicago Bulls star and NBA legend Michael Jordan was arrested near Orlando, Florida, on DUI and drug charges, according to multiple reports.

Marcus Jordan, 34, was booked on charges of DUI with property damage, possession of cocaine, and resisting an officer after he allegedly fled a traffic stop, according to local outlet WESH.

Citing court documents, TMZ reports Michael Jordan’s second-eldest son had driven off from a traffic stop early Tuesday morning and gotten his Lamborghini SUV stuck on railroad tracks in Maitland, Florida.

When officers found Marcus Jordan, he allegedly had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol, according to WESH. He reportedly told police he needed help getting his car off the tracks after taking a wrong turn.

Officers said the 34-year-old initially resisted arrest and a baggy containing what was later determined to be cocaine was found in his pocket.

He was reportedly singing with slurred speech while being transported to jail, WESH and TMZ reported. As of late Tuesday morning, he was still awaiting a bond hearing.

Marcus Jordan graduated from Chicago’s Whitney Young High School and played college basketball at the University of Central Florida, located near Maitland. He now serves as the CEO of retail boutique Trophy Room, which he founded.

Marcus Jordan pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in 2012 after an incident in Omaha, Nebraska. He had been charged with obstructing a police officer but that was dropped as part of a plea agreement, Yahoo! Sports reports. He received a fine of $250 in that case, according to the Associated Press.
