MUSC Health to host groundbreaking for Bluffton medical office building

BLUFFTON, S.C. () — Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Health leaders and physicians will celebrate the groundbreaking of the MUSC Health Bluffton Medical Pavilion on Tuesday, February 11.

The facility, to increase access to care and bring medical specialties closer to home, will be three stories and 54,000-square-feet.

The medical office building will serve the surrounding communities in Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton counties.

This will consolidate existing services in the Bluffton area into one location and provide new specialties for the community. The services to be provided include:

  • Adult and Pediatric Primary Care
  • Hollings Cancer Center Satellite Clinic (oncology and infusion services with supporting lab and compounding pharmacy)
  • Imaging
  • Multispecialty clinics
  • Pediatric specialty and urgent care (after hours)
  • Phlebotomy
  • Pulmonary/Sleep Lab
  • Telehealth
  • Vascular care

The new facility is expected to bring nearly 60 new jobs to the area, including 17 providers. 
The MUSC Health Bluffton Medical Pavilion is scheduled to open in spring 2026.
