Inside Mauricio Umansky's Alleged Infidelity During Marriage To Kyle Richards

During Season 11, Episode 7 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Sutton Stracke made shocking allegations about Kyle Richards’ estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. Sutton claimed Mauricio had been unfaithful to Kyle during their marriage, something the OG Housewife was quick to shut down.

The Daily Dish noted that Sutton and Kyle chatted about this during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show. Sutton admitted that things “slip” out of her mouth, before clarifying what she meant.

“I remember we had [previously] talked about how, [is it] infidelity if you text someone on the Instagram? … We’re also in this very nebulous stage in their separation. During a separation, when does it become OK to have a relationship with someone?”

Kyle explained on the After Show that she spoke to Sutton about the situation. “Later [Stutton] said to me, ‘I don’t know why I said that. I got so confused.’ Do I believe that was an actual accident? Absolutely not.”

According to Collider, Garcelle Beauvais backed up Sutton’s claims in a confessional, saying Mauricio’s transgressions have long been the talk of the town. “We’ve been hearing rumors for years that either Mo has stepped out or is doing this or is doing that. Nobody has confirmation.”

Kyle and Mauricio split in 2023 after over 27 years of marriage, leading to rumors of infidelity. PEOPLE reports that the couple has always denied “any wrongdoing on anyone’s part.”

Kyle Richards was quick to shut down Sutton Stracke’s claims of Mauricio Umasnky’s infidelity, but in the past, fans have felt she hinted at the trust issues in her marriage.

In the RHOBH Season 13 reunion, the Halloween star said “There were things that happened” that made her “lose [her] trust” in her marriage.

Executive Producer and host, Andy Cohen, noted that infidelity rumors had plagued Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage since the Bravo reality show started. Kyle explained that whenever she spoke to Mauricio about the rumors, he would tell her, “We can’t care. We know the truth.”

“Of course, there’s always that little voice in my head, like, ‘What if this is true?'” she added. “People would say these things all the time.” While Mauricio did not want to address these rumors, they ultimately “chip[ped] away” at her trust for Mauricio and made her “feel insecure.”

She told Andy during the reunion that she tried to hold her marriage together but ultimately “hit a breaking point.” The mother of four shared, “With any marriage, there’s issues that you have, and they come up and you get busy. You’ve got kids — my kids were little — I’m working, I’m being a mommy, and doing all that, [so, the issues] get put aside and will come up again.”

Some of the issues never went away. They were never worked on. And then something, like I said in my interview, happened where I did lose my trust.

In the Season 13 finale of RHOBH, Kyle had a heart-to-heart with Erika Jayne about her marriage and infidelity. She admitted to the singer that she was struggling with the split because there was not one big reason for separating.

“Since that article came out, I’m seeing, ‘Oh, obviously it’s because Mau cheated’ or now ‘Kyle has cheated.’ There’s literally nothing to do with anybody else,” Kyle told her co-star, per Life & Style. “It’s really just about Mau and me. It’s not about our family. It’s not about external family. It’s not about another person on his side or my side. This is just about Mau and me.”

Mauricio Umansky has been accused of having a wandering eye over his time appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and later, Buying Beverly Hills on Netflix.

Reality Tea reminded their readers that Camille Grammer brought up way back in Season 1 of the franchise that Mauricio likes his flings and his nannies. Even in 2013. Kyle was having to defend her husband from rumors he had cheated on her. The Daily Mail reports that Kyle almost quit the reality show after allegations about her then-husband by Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump.

Kyle angrily blamed Lisa Vanderpump for making the Mauricio cheating rumors for public consumption. “It seemed to be a common theme to speak against my husband — whether it was watching Lisa going after Mauricio’s and my integrity regarding our business at lunch with Yolanda and Brandi, or watching Lisa and Ken talk about the tabloids in their living room and seeing how Ken defended Mauricio while Lisa cleverly still tried to cast doubt.”

According to ScreenRant, in August 2022, former “friend” of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dana Wilkey, accused Dorit Kemsley and Mauricio of having an affair. Dorit was still with her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley and Mauricio with Kyle, when Dana hinted on Instagram there was more than friendship between them.

Dorit clapped back in the comments section calling Dana “miserable” and “thirsty.”

“Kyle and Mau are our friends and my kids call them uncle and auntie. Do you think this is OK for my kids to see when it’s a disgusting lie? If this is the only way you can make a buck then so be it but at least have some decency and stop trying to peddle false narratives especially when you know there is ZERO truth behind it and your whole motive is to just hurt people for no reason. It’s sad, pathetic and bound to bite you in the a** inevitably.”

Since Mauricio Umasnky and Kyle Richards split in 2023, the real estate mogul has been linked to multiple beauties.

“He is dating around and is having fun,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2024. “He’s a happy-go-lucky kind of guy and can’t sit still when it comes to dating and traveling right now. He likes his freedom. Mauricio doesn’t want anything serious.”

He hit the headlines when he danced with Emma Slater during Season 32 of Dancing With The Stars. Although they were spotted holding hands at dinner, they denied any romance. Kyle noted on RHOBH that he replaced a photo of her with the professional dancer in his office.

“I really think that Mauricio is someone who’s going to be in my life forever,” Slater told Us Weekly in May 2024. “We really do click. We sort of went through difficult times at the same time together and were each other’s confidants. It was a really nice season. Difficult for both of us, but we’re really really grateful that we had each other.”
