PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A passenger aboard an Oakland-to-Portland flight was subdued and removed while the plane was still on the tarmac on February 1, Alaska Airlines officials confirmed to affiliate KOIN.
Alaska Flight 2221 was getting ready for takeoff when a seated man became violent and began assaulting other passengers and crew members.
Crew subdued the man and brought law enforcement onboard.
The man was removed from the plane and is now banned from Alaska and Horizon flights, airline officials said.
