AUGUSTA, Ga. () – As many in the area continue to rebuild after Hurricane Helene, FEMA is hosting a Housing Resource Fair in Augusta this Saturday.

The fair is being held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 15 at Henry Brigham Community Center at 2463 Golden Camp Road in Augusta.

This event is open to all, regardless of whether or not attendants have applied for assistance from FEMA.

According to FEMA, the goal of the even is to connect disaster survivors to resources including local housing organizations, property owners, landlords as well as information on the HEARTS Georgia Sheltering Program and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) loans.

“We want survivors to know we are here for them and want to see the best outcome, which is moving into safe, sanitary and functioning housing,” said FEMA Federal Coordinating Officer Kevin Wallace . “We will walk them through their options to ensure they are aware of the resources that are available to fit their need.”
