Exes Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver showed support for their son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, at the premiere of The White Lotus season 3.

Patrick, 31, is among the ensemble cast of the third season of HBO’s resort-set drama and had heavyweight support from both his mom and dad for the star-studded premiere on Monday, February 10, in Los Angeles.

Arnold, 77, and Maria, 69, who finalized their divorce in December 2021 after separating a decade earlier, both posed for photos on the red carpet with Patrick — albeit separately.

Maria and Patrick also posed for a family photo — sans Arnold — featuring the former couple’s other children, Katherine, 35, and her actor husband, Chris Pratt, daughter Christina, 33, and son Christopher, 27. Patrick’s fiancée, Abby Champion, was also included in the group photo.

The Terminator star married Maria in April 1986 after first meeting in 1977. The pair announced their separation in May 2011 amid reports of infidelity on Arnold’s part. The Kindergarten Cop actor later confirmed that he fathered son Joseph Baena with his family’s former housekeeper, Mildred “Patty” Baena, amid his marriage.

In a May 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Arnold took ownership of the end of his marriage. “It was my f–kup. It was my failure,” he admitted.

Arnold said that while the divorce “was very, very difficult in the beginning,” he doesn’t miss being married. “Eventually, you move on,” he told the outlet. “I have a wonderful girlfriend, Heather Milligan, who is very successful. I’m really proud of her, and I love her.”

However, he added, “At the same time, I love my wife. She and I are really good friends and very close.” (He continued to refer to Maria as his “wife” throughout the interview.)

Opening up about their parenting dynamic, Arnold said that he and Maria spend plenty of time together with their children.

“We are very proud of the way we raised our kids,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “Even though we had this drama, we did Easter together, Mother’s Day together, the Christmases together, all birthdays — everything together.”

The actor continued, “If there’s Oscars for how to handle divorce, Maria and I should get it for having the least amount of impact on the kids.”

The new season of The White Lotus costars Patrick Schwarzenegger, Carrie Coon, Walter Goggins, Leslie Bibb and Natasha Rothwell. The latest installment is set at a luxury resort in Thailand.

The White Lotus debuts on HBO Sunday, February 16 at 9 p.m. ET and will be available to stream via Max.
