Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula are not new to the entertainment industry, so while it might be annoying for them to see the public speculating about their relationship, they know how to handle it. This is not the first time their marriage has been questioned, and it won’t be the last.

Amid the chaos caused by Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover’s recent split, fans became curious about the state of Summer House​​​​​​’s only remaining couple’s relationship. Here’s everything they need to know:

Kyle Cooke And Amanda Batula Address Divorce Rumors

In a new interview with E! News, the Summer House power couple assuaged doubts and concerns.

“We are doing great,” Amanda exclusively assured E! News. See? Nothing to worry about.

“Our entire relationship there have been some sort of rumors going on, from me being pregnant to us getting divorced. It seems to be something new every time, but none of them are true. I’m not pregnant, we’re not getting divorced.”

Because these incessant rumors can get tiring, the couple has long since made the decision to be as open as possible with fans while still protecting their privacy. Well, actually, sometimes at the cost of their privacy.

“We’re a pretty open book,” Kyle explained, “and we are by no means perfect. I think that, for better for worse, we’ve never really held back.”

“We’ve shared everything with people. Probably more than we care to share,” Amanda added. “So, for us to keep something like that a secret where it turns into a rumor is crazy.”

Kyle Was Hurt By The Rumors

While Amanda seemed mostly annoyed, Kyle admitted that the divorce rumors hurt his feelings a little. It’s understandable, in a way. Even if he knows they’re not true, it can’t be easy for him to read people speculating about his other half leaving him.

“Don’t get me wrong, the rumors sometimes kind of hurt, because it feels like, ‘My God, are people just not rooting for us?'”

Amanda chimed in with a sarcastic, “No, they’re not, it turns out.”

But in the end, Kyle can sort of understand where Summer House fans are coming from.

“They’re probably not [rooting for them]. They’re like, ‘We just want messy reality television.’ It’s interesting with all the different fan accounts these days, the rumors play a totally different part than they used to.”

Amanda and Kyle’s marriage is going great, and they couldn’t be happier, but just to be clear, that does not mean anything more. While they were setting the record straight, the couple also took the opportunity to clarify that not only are they not expecting, they also have no plans to start a family in the near future.

“I feel like I’m a child and for me to have a baby would be illegal. Like I’d be a teen mom, it just doesn’t seem right yet,” Amanda joked. “I have to feel like I’m my age and I’m not there. If I got pregnant right now, I’d be afraid to tell my parents.”
